The Wroclaw city council has officially announced that there will be no official New Year’s Eve in Wroclaw in 2023. Just like last year, this is due to the financial reasons. But although there will be no official celebration, still there are options to choose from to celebrate the first day of the New Year 2023.
New Year’s Eve in Wroclaw in previous years
Before the Covid restrictions, the New Year’s Eve celebration in Wroclaw was one of the most popular in Poland. There was a big concert at the Wroclaw Main Square, which was broadcasted by one of the main TV stations. Unfortunately, for the last three years, the event has been cancelled.

If the city event is cancelled, it will be a chance for other clubs and restaurants to invite more people to their events. You may find the list of events here and here. Alternatively, you may look for “Sylwester we Wroclawiu” on Google or Facebook.

No decision has been yet. I think we may know something more in the beginning od December.
