  • There are two airports that might be considered Warsaw Airports: Chopin Airport in Warsaw (WAW), and Warsaw Modlin Airport (MNI), with the first being within the city borders, and the latter being located about 40 km north-west of Warsaw. In this article, we will give you information on how to get from both of the airports to the city centre.

  • Poznan Airport (Lawica Airport) is located about 7 kilometres west of Poznan city centre. This is the only airport near Poznan, and although it’s not the biggest airport in Poland, it has been serving more and more passengers every year.  It is conveniently connected with the old town by public transport, but you need to change from bus to tram on the way.

  • Wroclaw Nicolaus Copernicus Airport (Port Lotniczy Wroclaw im. Mikołaja Kopernika) is located about 10 km west of the city centre. Unfortunately, there is no train station close to the airport, so you need to rely on buses and taxis.

  • Krakow has only one airport  – Balice John Paul the Second Airport. It is located about 10 kilometres west of the city centre and is very well-connected by public transport. You can get from Krakow Airport to city centre in 20 minutes by train for about 2 EUR! Other Krakow airport to city centre transportation options are more expensive and less convenient.
